Thank you all for giving me surprises and bday gift for my bday !!! Really touched and happy, I'm sincerely thanking everyone to make it a special day for me eventhough today is not the actual day.. hehe.

Thanks to my beloved sister for preparing the bday gift and keep tempting me to open since more than one week ago. Don't worry, I will open it "officially" tomorrow before I "fly", okay :P

Thanks to Mr. K for coming in to "celebrate" my "bday" eventhough that was 3 days in advance, hehe. I know you wanted to get me the thing I want, thought counts. Don't worry, I will "claim" from you when I come back from my trip, hehe =P

Thanks to Ms. Anita Ong for giving me "angpao", although a bit "old-fashioned" but I actually kinda like it, take it as an auspicious sign before "flying"... hehe *muackz* ! :P

Thanks to my colleagues for giving me birthday cake surprise !!! I know Ms. J & Ms. C have been trying hard to think for that "story" - not to let me follow you guys going out for lunch together so that I won't know anything about the cake.

Thanks to "Mr. Evar" for really giving me a surprise, I like the flower so much =) Still remember I like white rose eh? Ok la, I help you to look out for the thing you want in Bangkok, if don't have, not my fault hor, don't blame me, okay :P

The Little Nyonya (Press Conference)

This entry should be written and posted in November caused the event took place at Pan Pacific Hotel on 21st November, yet... have to wait for the MediaCorp staff to send the cd over cause my camera is too lousy to shoot nice pictures!!! Hate it so much!! Anyone wanna sponsor me a new camera for my coming bday?? Hehe =P

Well, we are one of the co-sponsor for "The Little Nyonya" - SG series (25th Nov until 05th Jan). No one wanted to attend the press conference, so... I have to be thicked-face, "recommend" myself to my manager to attend the press conference :P kekeke

Rebecca: Hello Shannen.. Does your company selling any canned foods?
Shannen: Hey Rebecca.. Canned foods? What kind of canned food that you are referring to?
Rebecca: Canned foods that is suitable for old folks..
Shannen: Hmm.. let me see.... (silent while browsing stock balance) okay.. we have Hunt's tomato products... SPC canned fruits..
Rebecca: Oh ya, SPC! We are doing some sort a charity show and asking for sponsorship..
Shannen: All right, why don't you e-mail me the details or something?
Rebecca: Okay, I will work on it and fax to you later.
Shannen: Okay, let me have a look first.

(late afternoon)
Terence Cao: Hi Shannen, I am (name which I did not pay attention to) fr Mediacorp.
Shannen: Oh, hi..
Terence Cao: I believe my colleague has called you regarding the charity show.
Shannen: You mean Rebecca? Ya.. she called me this morning about the sponsorship.
Terence Cao: Ya, ya, Rebecca. (repeating the same thing as Rebecca on the phone about the charity)...
Shannen: I've asked Rebecca to send me an email or sth so that I can discuss with my management.
Terence Cao: Okay, we should send you black & white. I'll ask my colleague to follow up with you.
Shannen: Then I'll wait for the fax or email. Bye.
Terence Cao: Ciaoz.

(half an hour later)
Rebecca: Hi Shannen, did Terence Cao call you just now regarding the charity show?
Shannen: (blur)... huh? I received a call from Media Corp just now. Who is Terence Cao?
Rebecca: (shocked!) Huh? You don't who is Terence Cao?? Cao Guo Hui, you know??
Shannen: (still blur) huh? Who is Cao Guo Hui?
Rebecca: (still shock).. You really don't know??
Shannen: (paiseh).. Er.... I don't really know Sg's artists.. hehehe..

(10m later)
Shannen: (asks colleagues)... Eh, who is Cao Guo Hui? (all colleagues shock at the same time)
Colleague A: The one.. who who who loh..
Shannen: Er... who oh? (scratching head)
Colleague B: You know which which which show?
Shannen: I don't know leh, never watched before... (still paiseh)
Colleague C: Noh, the one acts as who who who in that that that show leh..
Shannen: Er... (scratching her head trying to figure out which show).. eh, paiseh, I really don't know which show leh.. he he he
All colleagues: (stare at me)
Shannen: Nvm.. got Sg artist called me leh~ ho ho ho~
All colleagues: CEH !!!!!
Shannen: I know you all jealous me... ho ho ho~~
All colleagues: (walk back to their own place & ignore me)

AFA 2008

Went to Anime Festival Asia 2008 on last Sunday. As expected, nothing much special and quite disappointed with the cosplay..

Here is Singapore, what do you expect if compare to Japan? Anyway, let's give a big clap to them *winks*

Lost

I always wanted to be busy at work so that time "crawls" faster. I always wanted to take up more responsibilities and learn new things. Now my wish has came true.. I'm taking more tasks and learning new things from time to time... but... I realized, I have no one to actually seek for decent advice & direction.

All I can do is to think myself and ask for opinions from colleagues.. Sometimes, I just feel so tired and lost. I'm confused, I belong to which department? Learning from mistakes is not necessary a bad thing, however, it is not a healthy way and unfair to myself & my co-workers.

I just feel I'm alone, all by myself...

Helmet =P

I know you will stare at me if I tell you - I wanna cut hair~ cuz my hair "too" long liao whereas my hair is only shoulder length.. :P

I went to saloon on last Sat with my sister cuz I'm bored with it. I wanted to cut a "helmet style", ended up... still "helmet" style but too short at the back. I colored my hair in deep maroon and highlighted 1 patch in dark red. All in all, I am quite satisty with it.

Although this style is not what I want initially, luckily it didn't turn out too ugly and I've received many good comments on my new hairdo~ ho~ho~ho~

Karaokie

Almost 3 months did not go to karaokie with my colleagues. It's not that I love to sing nor drinking the alcoholics, but as a "gathering activity" amongst my colleagues.

Last Friday, we had really enjoyed ourselves and I guess, my colleagues had really gone high & mad ! Haha

Busy !!!

OMG, I only have 1 entry for October month ?!
Not because I was lazy to blog, but I was too busy at works until I have no extra time to do my own stuff. I don't have pc & no online service at my place.. thus, I can only blogging during "office hours"..

So tired.. lately have been busy with works, works and works. Works are non-stop coming in, 1 job is done, another 3 jobs are "squeezing" in simultaneously.. the whole wide world is chasing me.. operation dept, sales dept, purchasing dept, even my MD... argh !

If I strike TOTO, I swear I will burn away everything on office table !!
*pinch pinch own face* ya.. I know, time to wake up.. ~>.<~

Tired

I feel billion tons of exclamation marks sitting on my shoulder and trillion tons of question marks keep squeezing in my head.

I feel my shoulders and my head are so heavy... I feel so exhausted every night when I got home. I feel I'm like a dead walking zombie on the street, without direction and no destination.

Recently I've been busy with works till I can't breathe and my mind is not functioning well... because I realized....

Runaway

I hate shifting place but I'd never been "so happy" to move out all my stuffs together with my colleagues & friends before.

We were moving out my stuff + my sister's "trash", all together... erm, already more than 10 cartons, but less than 15, + bags + book rack + etc etc etc, that's amazing, feel like we are moving out the whole house in fact we are just moving out from a room, haha.

Everyone was so co-operative and keep moving things so systematically and we even cracking jokes and laughing down there, just like a bunch of school kids going for camping or trip, hehe..

Anyway, thanks a lot to:-

Devil vs Angels

Devil is a natural disaster who “slays” happiness in regardless to whomever near to them. They are destined to bring catastrophe, commit sin, and key opponent to angels.

Why a devil is surrounded by a bunch of angels even though bringing all these abject? Last time, I would call them “beautiful people”; they are not only endowed with goodwill but non-stop giving compassion no matter how they were treated by the devil. Now, I call them “guardian angels”.

好朋友

我有两个好朋友 – Ms. Hot Temper (she’s really hot, yeah) & Mr. Impatient (he’s really impatient, don’t play play). 他们从小看着我长大，我快乐不快乐他们都会陪在我身边。我们就好象“好姐妹”，从不分离。无论发生什么事，他们都会站在我那边，无时无刻“保护”我。

当我长大了，我的“玩伴”不之他们俩个了。这些好朋友都觉得我所谓的“好姐妹”都是不好的，教我不开心就发泄出来，不要收在心里 – 我的坏脾气就是重那边学来的。

我讲过的话从来不喜欢重复第二次，因为我是个很没有耐心的人。讲过又讲让我觉得很浪费时间，不然就是对方没专心听我讲话。耐心是需要“浪费时间”训练出来的。

没有Ms. Hot Temper & Mr. Impatient, 我今天就做不成“大小姐”了。。哈哈哈。

Hide & Seek

When we were a child, we play hide & seek.
When we are an adult, we still playing hide & seek.

Children playing hide & seek is to have fun.
Adult playing hide & seek is to aviod from seeing each other, oh.. how saddening.

Recently someone is playing hide & seek with me, which I think unnecessary and foolish for an unreasonable reason which makes me feel freaking sickening & irritated.

Love can be great, but... if you're using the wrong way, it can annihilate your mind and causing you act illogically.

Broken bond

Until today, at this moment, I still can remember clearly every single word you had told me on that day..
Something astonishing, enormous and cuts like a knife deep into my heart..

My fingers were shivering and tears rolling down my cheek, I couldn't control my emotion anymore.. I ran to the washroom, shut the door and burst into tears, yes.. I was very upset..

I never blamed you on anything, I was just disappointed. If your decision could bring you happiness, I sincerely wish you all the best.. =)

Zombie

Happy birthday to taikor Jezz !!
What a great celebration cum gathering on last Saturday though it was a "bit" tiring. Why would I say a bit ? Neh, nothing much.. we just stayed until next morning~ hehe.

Had a nice and amusing dinner at Modern Evolution. Nice milieu which makes you think of "steamboat & bbq-ing beef" scene you'd seen in Korean drama. The show continues when we decided to "sing k" (of course, I am just an ardent fans - sitting there and "enjoy" superstars "competing").. hehe.

Unfortunately, Mr. Chow came and looked for me, I started to doze-off from 12mn until 3am+ ...
Anyway, thanks to Mr. K for accompanying me until 6.30am - broad bus from JB and head back to SG.. Gosh, I was really like a dead-walking zombie, I can just sleep at anywhere, anytime if I close my eyes...

Anyway, I'd really enjoyed myself.

Knowing you for 9 years yet I never knew what's on your mind.
From an innocent girl and now, you are someone's wife and a mother of one... time really flies and many thing has changed - which is unexpected and unexplainable.

At this moment, I know you are going through a very tough stage in life, so wanted to help you and it's saddening & heartbreaking to see you suffering by yourself. You know we will always be there for you and please forget the past and be brave to face the future.

You can live better without "him"... =)

珍惜

我常常在想。。。人离开了这世界会到哪个地方去？上天堂或下地狱？还有第三选择吗？
亲人或朋友离开了是今生的结束还是下一世的开始？我们还有可能遇上吗？
当人不在了，我们只能靠记忆寻找过往的点点滴滴。。久而久之当这些回忆变模糊了我们会开始怀疑他们真的出现过吗？

I never like to drink plain water. I can survive by just drinkng few drops of water for couple of days or even a week. Hmm.. maybe I should consider to take part in "Survivor".. hehe.

Anxiety

I'm tired of thinking ideas for my company's new website... Feedback is important, yet.. too much of it will make you go insane!

I'm stucked in between.. I even dreamt of it in the night. Could somebody please help me? Help me~~~ *cry out loud*

Hair

I tried to keep my hair as long as I can... cuz I always think female in long hair looks more feminine and most importantly I look sucks in short hair, yet...... I chopped off my locks in last month!!

I took a period to think and pluck up the guts to cut it off! Finally~~~ Yay~~~~Shinei-sama looks sucks again! Haha =P

Well.. hmm... many people asked me why I cut it off cuz my hair is really long.. almost waist length and now not even shoulder length! I'm bored of waiting my hair to dry every night and now, I don't even need 20 minutes!

I guess, I will stay in short hair for a period. Wanna see my suckie look in short hair? Show y'all next time :P
